To celebrate its fifth anniversary, Ovation! Musical Theatre Bainbridge will host an evening of great food and great fun with Saturday Night Safari - Singers Gone Wild! Saturday, June 7th, 2008, at 7:30 PM at the Bainbridge Commons (402 Brien Drive SE, Bainbridge Island, WA).
The event is designed to celebrate Ovation!'s anniversary and help raise needed funds for the growing company. The $50 ticket price includes admission, fabulous appetizers from Three Wells Catering, entertainment, music and dessert. There will be a cash bar and a silent auction featuring items from local merchants and artists.
Ovation! promises that in the spirit of the engaging company, Singers Gone Wild! will be an evening of great food and great music. The Bainbridge Commons is being transformed into a club for the evening, complete with piano bar and singing waiters. Tim Davidson, popular local actor and singer (who is playing The Baker in Ovation!'s July 2008 production of Into The Woods) will be on hand to help lead the fun and games and the event will be co-hosted by Ovation! Board Members, Jon Doll and Peter Denis. Surprise guests are scheduled to appear and the event will also include a sneak preview of Ovation!'s upcoming production of Into The Woods and the unveiling of the 2009 production schedule.
