Thom Hamilton, Vice President

Thom Hamilton is presently Executive Director of Diversified Home Consulting - a Bainbridge-based company overseeing international investment portfolios. Previously, he was the Founding President of Diversified Fabrication Inc. involved in yacht construction and high-rise buildings in Seattle. He served a seven-year term out of the country as the President of Oppdrett Services, a corporation with international divisions providing engineering, R&D, marketing and consulting world wide.

Thom's hobbies range from travel photography, wood working, and opera in the shower, to sculpting, fabrication in all mediums, and offshore sailing. His studies were in the fine arts.

Community Service: Upon the request of his daughter Kacy, Thom procured equipment and was the Founding President of the non-profit Bainbridge Island Rowing Club (BIRC), with his wife Karen as Secretary-Treasurer. Sixty Bainbridge youth are currently rowing in the Juniors program. Thom is in his eighth year as a Bainbridge Island Harbor Steward, active in maintaining and preserving Island harbors and coastal waterways.

Thom has been indirectly involved with Ovation! through his son Tavis, who has an unequivocal passion and dedication to theater. With enthusiasm, Thom looks forward to participating on the board and contributing to the growth of Ovation!
