The Ovation! Scholarship Program
Since 2011, Ovation! began awarding one or more scholarships to Bainbridge Island graduating high school seniors who were continuing on to college (in any area) or to an arts academy. Scholarships are merit-based and eligible applicants will have participated in Ovation! mainstage shows or classes and/or other performing arts opportunities on Bainbridge or within the school system (public and private) while maintaining an excellent academic record. The application window opens on April 1. The scholarships are funded by the Ovation! Board of Directors and by private donations earmarked for the scholarship program. (Note, One Call for All donations do not fund our scholarship program.) Donations to Ovation!'s Scholarship Fund are tax deductible to the fullest extend allowed by law. Scholarships are presented at the Bainbridge High School Awards Night in June.
