Summer camps can give your child invaluable skills, but it also gives them the opportunity to make relationships that can last a lifetime. Even though the coronavirus pandemic has changed what our summer plans usually look like, we think we came up with a fun (and short) in-person summer camp that not only will enrich your child’s heart and mind, but also complies with OSPI Health and Safety Guidelines.

Ovation! Presents Theater Workshop
This year’s camp will take place at the Ovation! Rehearsal Studio (entirely outdoors), where our faculty of experienced teen actors will coach campers in many theatrical and acting skills in two small groups of no more than 4 students each week. Topics include: body awareness and movement, character development, improvisation, stage design and production and costume design. Elementary Camp will bring the poems of Shel Silverstein to life like “Boa Constrictor” and “The Yipiyuk.” The Intermediate Camp will be introduced to the light-hearted and hilarious ‘play within a play’ from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. All experience levels are welcome to either of the two sessions offered.
