Our performing arts education arm, the Ovation! Performing Arts Academy (OPAA), was created to encourage education in the performing arts. Currently, we run three programs:  Glee Camp, Crescendo, and our Holiday Children’s Choir.

 

Glee Camp occurs during our summer sessions under the direction of Todd Hulet.  During this five-day camp, kids and adults enjoy singing and learning choreography to popular songs, that culminates into a fun, entertaining performance at the end of the session.

 

Crescendo, our adult choir, is comprised of people who love to sing pop, standards, jazz and show tunes.  These sessions include multiple community performances like caroling and The Tree Lighting Ceremony on Bainbridge Island.

 

Ovation!'s Holiday Children’s Choir is part of the Ovation! Performing Arts Academy and is under the direction of Music Director Wendi Olinger.  Children 8-14 will be singing holiday classics like “Frosty the Snowman”, “Jingle Bells” and more. The choir will be performing at least three events along with our adult choir, Crescendo.
