CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS!

Ovation! is currently seeking submissions for our winter and summer 2028 mainstage shows. If you have a show that you’d like to direct that you think fits our mission, we’d like to hear from you! Note that the shows must be musicals; submissions for revues are also welcome.

In order to submit a show for our consideration, please email info@ovationmtb.com to let us know that you’re interested, and we will send you the submission forms and set up a method for you to submit your materials. Please note that we do not require prior directing experience; we're happy to consider first-time directors as part of our mission to be a teaching company. You may submit up to three different shows. All submissions must be received by end of day, July 31st.

Once we've received your materials, we'll invite you to meet with our selection committee. Pitch meetings will be scheduled for August. You don't have to come prepared with elaborate concept designs; just show up with your knowledge of and enthusiasm for the show, and we'll listen to your pitch and ask any questions we might have.
